Solution: Replace I/R LED D04 (8-719-058-76) and add the following transistor in circuit to the CD Decoder Board as outlined below. REF DESCRIPTION PART NUMBER N/A 2SC945-P 8-729-194-57 Check the voltage at IC02 pin 9 on the CD Decoder Board (1/2). With a disc inserted the voltage should be less than 1.2V. When no disc is inserted the voltage should be 3.5V. If these voltages are not within the operating range, replace phototransistor PH01(8-729-036-35).
